    I believe the M indicates Kriegsmarine. I don't think you 'll narrow it down much more than that.

    Thank you it was something that we came across whilst cleaning out our Grandmas house in Poland...is it likely to be worth anything do you think?

    I've seen plates like these for sale on the internet for 20-30 euros, a dealer in Berlin was asking 30 euros.

    It is a Kriegsmarine plate. At least it is an original one:-). About the prices - there is no market price. I have many III Reich plates but I would not sell them for the $20-30 each. Well, it is the price of a dinner in not so good restaurant. Prices are very low today so better keep it.
