German Spurs?

I am not certain if these are posted correctly, if not can someone please move to the proper location, thank you.

My son was recently gifted these spurs. He was told they were WWII Japanese but we have yet been able to make the connection, the closest example I have found were German. I have inspected every inch of theme and there are absolutely now legible markings, I do not even know if they are military. Any assistance in the identification of these spurs would be greatly appreciated.

Ive seen a pair of spurs almost exactly like it - look forward to the verdict on these.

I do not think they are German or ww2 or ww1.
But British spurs post ww2 .
But let see what other say ,this is not my field of expertise.

I'm going to assume then that these spurs are not of german origin as nobody has jumped up and identified them as such. Time to do some more digging!
