German Staff car pennant. Is it tropical?

I bought this from a Guy's son, who served in North Africa (the dad not the son). He told me his dad took it off of a staff vehicle. My question is: Is this item tropical. Thanks for any and all help, it's definitely appreciated.

Does not black light at all. Has nice usage (mothing and staining). The guy seemed pretty reputable. I have had several people look at it and they say it's good.

Also the pattern you have is common to those on ioffer.com, which is full of fakes.
Probably better photos of the adler would help.
