German taps and dies/
I have just done an exchange for these 3 different sets of taps and dies. Not everyone's cup of tea I know but on an Island where the German were in Occupation for 5 years such items were plentiful years ago as many a garage or workshop would have picked them up immediately after the end of the Occupation and used them when needed. Theres a couple of pieces missing from the sets overall but you just don't see them these days.

Nice to see complete (nearly) and boxed. Very usable too and I bet they are of better quality than those produced today.

Beeeeautiful!!! Outstanding, and the quality... Can't get very far working on vehicles and machinery without taps and dies. 1st couple sets some pretty BIG threads!
They look like good quality tools better than the cheap tools on ebay

Your 100% correct, although not with these particular sets. I have used another set I have to re-do threads on my 1940 Stoewer radio car.
