Is it considered "rare to find?" and what is its original colouring?

Indeed, this is a box for the "Gasschutzhaube" (the gas mask for head wounded).
This is the version for 1 mask, but there are also boxed for 3 masks

I have a few of these (but these are very rare)

The boxes are relatively easy to find while the contents are very rare !!
