The can is a long one (short ones were 25 cm, longer ones were 27,5 cm)

The can should be dated on the spare glass (Klarscheiben) compartment

Filters are plenty out there, but be carefull to buy a Filter which is not repainted. The Filters were used after the war but the WaA stamps were overpainted.

Straps are more difficult to find, and will certainly cost you more then 10 Pounds

I have a few strap sets left.....

Hi, folks checked out the spare lens cover, dated 1940 and maker mark which has two circles and a s between two straight lines looked on the net can not find anything, anyone have any idea who made it.

Straps are aprox 50 euro (so it would be sort of strange to pay 5 times the price for straps, but they are somewhat tough to find)

As for the maker mark : could you please make a picture or a sketch of it ??, I sort of collect maker marks on gasmasks (and cannisters) and I don't recognize this one
