Complete Assman maker marked fImelda police gorget. It's in rather nice condition, and still glows nicely in the dark.

Hello HC, I have some doubts with this one, While I was shopping around for one of these I learned a few things about fake vs real, I will post a link to a thread I started that shows the difference between real and fake Assman Gorgets, I learned that the cloth backed Assman marked ones were heavily faked in the 70's, they also glow, my concern with yours is the fat wreath around the eagle that Ive been told to avoid, the wreath should be thinner on the good ones, please see this link.

Sorry for the late reply. I do not like this gorget at all, not
only for the eagle. The Assmann with cloth backing is
in many occasions a most "dangerous" gorget. Beware!

I have never seen such a lousy painting for the letters.
