Thanks Manny.

Great thread! Thanks
Thank you for the pictures.
Finally I see a genuine boot and can use the pics for reference.
Does it always have 5 grommets und 4 hooks?
Because I sometimes see boots offered that have 4/4 or 4/3 and I am always unsure if they are real.
Regards,
Chris
P.S. whats your opinion about these 3 pairs?
Chris,
if you read the other thread as well ,especialy the one on the second model low boot, you'll see for yourself that these boots don't always have five eyelets and four hooks.
None of the boots you've posted is "Kommis",i.e. WW2 German Issue, sorry .First two pairs are post-war while the third is very similar to the WWi Belgian low-boot,but AFAIK the latter only had 7 pairs of grommets and no hooks!
Cheers
Manny
Looks like I will have to read the second thread again ;-)
I feel sorry for the buyer who paid 300 EURO for the first pair.
I thought the last pair looked good, but after looking at your
boots there are differences, especially the sole.
Well, seems like it is nearly impossible to find an original pair
of german boots on the internet.
