I picked up a Mess-Kit with markings I've never seen before...Your opinions and thoughts are appreciated...Polizei Praesidium Berlin?

I've just been informed by my Associate in Germany that these are Postwar Markings...

Correct, Polizei Präsidium Berlin.....

And indeed, post war.... Not only mess tins, but also canteens exist with this markings...
Mostly with blue felt, and often sold as luftwaffe

Tom is quite correct. The "blue felt" canteens were sold in large numbers as surplus. The black cups are the same design as WWII. I use one of them for re-enacting. They carry the exact same marking. NH
