I would like some help about this Ammo pouch if anyone can let me know what the stamp marks are

It reads VA 405/37 SS.

This is an SS contract code for 1937.

I am not convinced of the originality of the stamp. The pouch itself is good of course.

the SS and VA must be in a double circle, I don't know the code 405.

the SS marks are the wrong way round to me added later[pimped]

I don't know a whole lot about these other than there were a variety of types. For what its worth, here is a few pics of one I dug up while metal detecting in the Hurtgen Forrest back in the '80s. This one is/was brown and dated 1935. I have added some blue chalk dust to the manufactures stamp on the back.
