    Default K98 dust cover

    Hello everyone.

I got this K98 dust cover at home. Since these are rather rare there isn't much information to find on them.
I wonder what your thoughts on this one are. I have compared it to good ones but i can't tell if there are any tell tale things that point out an original.
I do know there a canvas dust covers and rubberized variants.
I did fit it on a deactivated k98 i have at home and it fits like a glove.
Any info would be much appreciated.

I like the construction of it, but I have not owned one. What is the waffenamt code number? I am not able to read it. I did not find too many examples when searching. I believe the correct search would be K98 receiver cover.
