K98 grenade launcher
Hello,
I am considering purchasing this and I know that they are somewhat uncommon, although they should also come with a sight, a tool and a pouch. Does anyone have any ideas as to the authenticity and market value of this? I cannot find many other examples to compare it to for purposes of price evaluation. Thanks in advance for any help.

Very nice condition! I just sold some (deactiveted) grenades last month, shame because it would look great with a grenade in place.

it will be a hell of a job finding a loose sight ....
pouch and tool will be relatively easy

I agree, good condition.
You very rarely find a complete set together. As said previously the sight will be a bear to find and the wrench almost as bad.
A company in Kali used to make repro launchers and wrenches, don't remember if they also made sights. Their launchers were smooth bore, no rifling. I bought a set - launcher u. wrench - to use for reenacting. I already had a raggedy pouch.

Thanks for all of your replies! Tom, you have a great set there. From the research I've done the launchers alone don't seem to have near the value of the complete set for obvious reasons, and like you all said, unfortunately the sights seem hard to come by.

I've got the same set you have, picked it all up one item at a time over the years, don't remember what I paid for any of it.
