A new "winter camo" jerry arrived just the other day - "das" maker 1944 - with panzer gray, a lighter gray and some green under the white paint - my second winter camo jerry...
    Cheers,

Great looking canisters. SS canisters are my favourite.

    HI

If you ever come across another Hungarian Kanister I would definitely like buy one. I would never find one in Canada.

Hello after a long long silence!

The British jerrycan looks perfect. I have four of them in my collection but unfortunatelly only one has remains of orignal paint.

My last booty is 1943 Mueller Schwelm can with Panzergrau paint partially preserved. The interesting element is a white cross painted on the left side, identical to painted on water ones. Has anybody seen something like this before? The cross seems to be as old as a gray layer so maybe it is fuel jerry adopted for drinking purposes?

Unfortunately, they are VERY rare. I was lucky a few years ago...haven't seen any for sale in years. (and I live in Hungary)
