Hi all,

Here is my new acquisition, its a nice little box with some good markings.

It was sold as a possible fuse box but it fits one of my WW1 shell casing perfectly with the cutouts on the edges that fit the rim.

The markings mean it is a box for two Hülsenkartuschen [semifixed cartridges] for the schweres Infanteriegeschütz 33 [heavy infantry gun 33].

"488 g Digl. Bl.P." means that the propellant was 488 grams of Diglykol in the form of flake powder [= Blättchenpulver].
