Latest acquisition: 1943 marked Zeltbahn and M35 Kriegsmarine Helmet
Hi all,
After a horrendous month spent falling foul of reproduction-peddlers and ebay junk merchants, I have a good feeling that I've enjoyed a spot of good fortune today at Brimfield Antique and Collectables Fair here in Western Mass. What do you guys think? (I intend to use the zeltbahn as the backdrop to my -now kickstarted- headgear collection!)
The Zeltbahn is fine.
The helmet needs better pics to confirm, but looks good so far.

Thanks for the verification guys. For what it's worth -and I hope I'm not breaching any conduct codes on here by saying so- the chap I dealt with was polite, helpful and modest. I would happily buy from him again. He isn't a militaria specialist but he has knowledgable pickers and a German colleague who do his verification for him. This is his site: Antiques from The Retreat
