If all items are WW2 dated and it's just the paint that is post war that seems very reasonable imo, always see if you can get a bit off though lol
I used to have a couple of MG related items but the market has changed since I collected them so hang fire until someone who's currently into field gear can give a better view.

Will do, Unfortunately the items are on a bid, but let’s hope they don’t get too pricey!

The oiler is Yugo: same as Russian Maxim oiler.

Hello, I think due to the post war paint and my quest for my first German helmet I will have to reluctantly let these ones go, here is the link to them as who knows maybe you guys want them. Thank you for the helpful replies, I now know more about these items.
Many, Many Thanks,
Bodhi

Hi
I would be happy to let these ones go..... the drum holder carrier is damaged, the vilt is missing, bad paint job....
C’mon guys, just because they have a tan paint job, it doesn’t make them worth this ammount....
Btw, if you strip them, chance is that they are blued underneath, like the one from BrodieBartfast
originaly they never were blued , allways painted !
Imho the post war used mg drums are nice, but not particularly valuable, because there are many many out there

Last I checked the set costs around 220 USD, is that too much or a good price?
Overpriced for the condition, better leaving them.
