Hello Stuka:
This sign is both metalic and enameld one.At night is fluorescente one.Its measures are 66 cm x 20cm.What´s your opinion? If you want I can put more pictures

It looks like 1950 / 1960 to me, I would expect more a Ghotic letter type for a WWII sign .
But I am no expert on thise, wait for other opinions.

I am not sure about of the era of this sign. I am 50/50 on it. Still a nice item whatever the date.

The seller assured me that this item is a very rare luftschutz sign of the WWII,but I also have some doubts.

look at it logiclly, would a faker go to the trouble of a flouresent paint, i think not, i even doubt wheather they would realize they were meant to. obviously to be seen at night by the public

I do not think it is faked , I think it is DDR material.
There was still an ennemy out there and shelters where still in use.

I agree that these are not fakes but are post war signs . I see these signs all the time on ebay and would stay away from them , if you are looking for original pre 1945 signs . I collect Luftschutz items and all original signs that own or have seen are white enamel .
