Article about: Hi, Recently I bought a german M42 helmet...http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/steel-...helmet-334617/ In that deal I got some stuff for free - including this item. Just today made some research

    Hi,

    Recently I bought a german M42 helmet...https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/steel...helmet-334617/

    In that deal I got some stuff for free - including this item.

    Just today made some research on this item.
    Looks like this is a Luftwaffe headlamp for pilots/navigators.

    Headlamp is marked:
    EKO DOMINIT.
    Fl. 56230/3

    Leatherstrap and wire is missing.

    A rare item, by any estimate! I definitely Like it! Great find, and one much harder to obtain than even the helmet!

    Very nice Luftwaffe lamp - definitely an improvement on the Lion King model the Reichswehr were working with .....
