Hi all! I work for the Telecommunications Museum in Greece and i found that in the storage rooms there are two odd phones! I asked the head manager of the Museum and said these two phones were donated to the Museum by a collector as Luftwaffe field telephones. There were placed at the instalations where the V2 rockets were launched! Have you ever seen anything like it before?

I know they didn't have V2 instalations in Greece! But it isn't hard to find such things in a Telecommunications Museum! They were donated from a private collector as such phones and i was more than curious to find out what they trully are! So, Dutch uh??? There aren't any dates on them so it is hard to tell when they were made.. Neither any waffen marks...

Do you know more about these two phones? Are they for military or civil use?

I'm sure they are military use...

Veldtelefoon means Field Phone, so they are used in the field....

Although I'm not absolutely sure, I'm pretty sure the number 55 means 1955

will try to find out more when they were used.....

I already found that these are called "Veldtelefoon TA-3017"

    And indeed post-war

If you google this you'll find some more info (most in dutch however)
