    Hey Guys,

Is it common for the bottom of these kits to not be marked on handle on base? This one is marked OHW 1944 on top hinge but unmarked on bottom riveted side housing for handle.

Your thoughts on this piece and value?

    Thanks!

    Rossi,

I saw one similar to this at a show last week. Didn't buy it because I couldn't find markings on the bottom either (plus I used all my cash on a m1918 trench knife ). Both top and bottom had little paint left but had similar trench art so I assumed they were together for a long time.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Thanks Michael! Appreciate the feedback. Not too concerned about bottom not being marked. It is a pretty nice kit from what I can tell.
