M1935 Canteen - FlakRegiment 25?

This canteen, although missing a few things, was a joy to find several weeks back. I'm not sure why my German luck has been improving at Garage and Estate sales, however I wont try to jinx it!

At first glance I figured this was your typical German canteen (as it of course is) however I was pleasantly surprised to see the FlakRegiment 25 tag in the back. Any ideas on what the top word is? or what the "1." stands for? I've done a bit of research and saw that a FlakRegiment 25 saw action in France, however if anyone knows anything more, I'm all ears!

The last name of the owner is on the top. Andres maybe? I believe 1. stands for first company. If you have the data on the Flak unit it should give you company numbers. NH

Neil : the number 1 stands for first Batterie rather than for first Company...it's artillery

Thanks JPhillip! All I can say is duh!! Of course it would be a Batterie and not a Kompanie! The last name appears to be Andres which does show up as a German surname. NH
