    Another pick up today. I nice clean M31 GJ (mountain troop) 1 liter Feldflasche.

    Maker: CLF.

    Date: 1941. Bakelite cup. Aluminum bottle, Steel snap hook and pigskin leather.

    Can anyone help tell me who CLF is and the mark on the cup?

    But kriegsmarine badges, SS helmets, luftwaffe visors, Wehrmacht badges and now GJ?
    You have as much direction as me ..lol ..I just think ALL TR stuff is interesting.

    LoL...you left out the non TR stuff....Japanese, US, Italian, British, etc....as well as Katana's, rifles, pistols, swords, daggers, uniforms, photos........

    Agree with you, it's all too nice not to collect. In fact I'm not done posting this week's haul...have an M36 Medical Officers tunic that should go up today if weather permits good photos

    As Dan has already stated Michael is there no stopping your collecting appetite?think you must cover one of the largest ranges of militaria going,keep posting away with your latest acquistions,well done again on another top purchase...............

    If it's wartime (and isn't it {unfortunately} always), I like it!!!

    Hello,
    Nice 1 liter canteen...congrats for your find.
    The logo on the cup is the logo used by all bakelite producers to indicate from what the bakelite is made of...some bakelite could not contain food or drink i guess...
    Glad you're using the book for your "everyday" collecting....

    Thanks. The book is a really useful resource. And thanks for clarifying that marking. I neglected to add two pictures (one of the cup and one on the stopper) that were much more clear of this marking.
