One of the (if not the) greatest thread ever on this forum! Just got a Zeltbahn (not heer yet but I have wanted one a long time now), went through all 18 pages, Thx JP and everyone else, love the troop, equipment, vehicle pics, by far my favorite kind of era picture.
Adding one of my own, not sure if it's appropriate, Fallschirmjäger uniforms made completely of Zeltbahn material, or were they issued this way? FG42?

Thx JP, right on the camera, a movie camera, I missed that. I wonder what camera?. Thx for the education on the smocks, now I see the pattern is smaller. I did find a nice Zelt pic and am including it. Hopefully this one hits the mark ;-)
Also just posted a Luft Zeltbahn for ID numbers perusal in the Field Gear area, if anyone would care to shed any light on these?
Some great Zeltbahn info from a great site, one of the best most factual sites on field gear that I know of, a great internet resource.
