Article about: Thanks for the picture, I have one of this type of ammo box and have been having trouble finding a photo of it in use. The jigsaw is complete and now I know my very used ammo box was a type

    the guy in the backgound on the left carries a Zeltbahn strapped to the D-rings....notice the first MG shooter in the foreground, with MG42, a tan Trommel and a tan pressed cardboard MG pouch...nice

    Tunic made of Zeltbahn for this unknown (to me) Ritterkreuzträger....field made or privetaly tailored of course...not a factory garment.

    Not a Zeltbahn of course, but a regulation smock of the first type and regulation helmet cover, both bearing the splinter pattern camouflage adopted for the M31 Zeltbahn

    Not all field made helmet covers were made from Zeltbahn material, some made of russian camo material could be seen as well....

    I'm still searching the Internet and found another nice photo of some Radfahr unit...Zeltbahnen are rolled and strapped to handlebars, France 1943
