Mess kit strap noot good???

Goodmorning guys,

I just got this mess kit strap in but i don't think its a good one.. i think somebody messed with it.
I don't like the black thread how the leather looks feels and smells and especially the stamp! its stamped with C.RIESE BERLIN 1943/ 21-7.. when ik looked at the 1943 stamp close by i saw that underneath the 1943 stamp is an old stamp that says 1958 when you see the stamp in daylight it is pretty obvious.. please see the pics i added.

first of all this is not a mess kit strap, but equipment strap.....

but indeed, it is a BundesGrenzSchutz strap restamped.....
