Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

It is MG13 ammo box - for 8 magazines. It is not Normandy camo but pre WWII camo, from the year 1938 for example (most of MG13 mags have seen are marked 1938). By the way, if anyone needs MG13 original magazines in very good condition, send me a PM. More than 3000 magazines were found this year in Germany.
And the link You posted - this price is a little bit crazy - £470 for the complete set of the box and 8 mags. Or maybe MG13 is just underpriced, it is not so "sexy" as the MG42 or even MG34... Actually MG13 is a very well made pre WWII produced weapon. The only problem is that mags contained only 25 rounds so it had no effect agaist the Soviet mass attack in ostfront. MG42 spent a lot of ammo but was a killer in distances 100-400 meters. But the other MG-s in that time were not much better - Soviet round drum DP28 had 47 rounds and I do not know how much had Bren (30?) in 1 magazine. As about the FG42 - these mags do not pass to that weapon. Just as they do not pass to a K98 without modification.
