Motor cycle goggles

Article about: Hi could someone give their opinion on these goggles, are they German ww2, I have seen pictures of similar but can't find any close up pics to compare.

    Was thinking the strap looks like a British helmet strap.

    Could be cobbled together by an enterprising soldier after the original elasticised strap broke?

    Do you think the goggles themselves are ww2 German

    Possibly. .. many nations goggles look similar. ... the german ones often used a d ring or similar to attach the strap. Do the press studs have a maker stamp?

    More inclined to think these are British.

    Thanks for the info on these, may look good on one of my pith helmets then, I will have to look out for a AFV helmet or despatch riders helmet.

    imo they are Russian pilots goggles.

    This photo from a previous thread on goggles looks like a good match, the nose bridge strap looks about the same size. I believe these type of goggles are interwar manufactured flieger goggles, but repurposed for motorrad use.
