MP44 German magazine-pouch

Hi,
I'm rather new in this equipment collection-field.
I saw this interesting MP44 magazine-pouch at ePay, could this pouch have a chance to be real WWII ?
I need one for a mannequin on display - no cheap item though, I know !!

Stitching looks very new to me. Looks like it has been treated with bleech to give it that "I've been there" look. The leather didn't age as you would expect, and the D ring is wrong.
