Re: Are my Jack boots genuine?
Absolutely NOT German military.
WWII German boots will have heal irons and hobnails on the soles. Sometimes toe taps sometimes not.

Re: Are my Jack boots genuine?
Not all German boots will have heel irons and hob nails....initial issue boots would have, but it was not uncommon to see boots with rubber soles, as soldiers did get them resoled, or private purchase boots. Having said that these boots don't have the shark nose appearance and the stitching around the top is not commonly seen.
I'd even say post war east german

Theres no steel toe cap - if you can give me an idea of which parts of the boot to photograph, I can take and then put them up
Many thanks
