Hi All,
Just got this bread-bag, no major problems, holes, etc. - but a bit dirty...
Any way I can clean this a little (manually of course)?

It looks nicely used, i'd leave it be.
I don't have it with me yet, (these were the seller's pics) but probably looks better in real-life, than these "flash" photos.
So, yeah, I might just leave it as it is...
Thanks!
Fabe
If it smells really bad ( which some do ) let it air for a few days but if the staining is oil ( some got used for tool bags because they are great for that ) then as Gunny said, leave be - it adds to the character!

Salty and well used is best IMHO.

Whatever its just an opinion.
Touche pas. You might wash away real WWII dirt! NH
Leave it alone!
I will!
Good man!...
update:
my bread-bag arrived today...
looks great, no bad smell
dark brown leather is soft, no cracks - if there was any stamping on it, it no longer can be seen.
2 alu. buttons were replaced with slightly different alu. buttons - but looks like war-time repair to me...
overall, I'm quite happy with it.
cheers,
Fabe
