This logo is a legit WWII maker's logo.
I had an entrenching tool that had the same marking, which is "AB&C"
A maker still unkown to me but a legit one.

The maker is A. Bredt & Co. they are still in business as Idealspaten-Bredt GmbH und Co. KG.
