    Exactly. You know I like the heavily marked items, and the name makes it more historical

    As far as I can tell so far the leather was produced by Hans Deuter, Augsburg and the Arbeitsman named
    was from XXXII Saar-Pfalz Westmark 1/320... I will do some more research as to the other stampings...G

    I cannot fully read AD Abt 1/?78. Can you Gwar!

    1/320 is from the Arbeitsgau XXXII and in fact existed already in July 1933 at Speyer at Pfalz and
    was in fact a unit from the Verein zur Umschulung (a disguised nazi labour service). It was transferred
    to Bergenhauzen, also Pfalz, in summer 1937.
    In later years the unit was granted the honor-name "Franz Hellinger".

    The tornister was stocked in summer 1936 (9 36: maybe also the date of producing).
