    Hello guys

I am in need of your expertise please.

The dust goggles in the photos below are being offere at a very reasonable price on a local auction site as genuine WW2 German dust goggles. I have zero experience wrt this type of kit issue and wanted to get them to add to a repro helmet painted as in a DAK variant. Is there any chance that this pair is a genuine period piece or where they produced post-war as well ?

    Many thanks in advance lads

    Warm regards

    Andrew

Period item which is very commonly seen and should be very cheap to buy.

These are not really reproduced....however they continued to make them till the 60's, and wartime produced ones were used post war as well.
Apart from a wartime makers mark on a packet, there's really no way to say when these things were produced, though they did do them in plastic cases post war....
These should be cheap, like 10 bucks

    Hello Chaps

Well, I've won the goggles on the auction and intend to use them on a DAK Repo helmet when I get round to doing it. Damn postal strike on here at the moment so my goggles are collecting dust in a post office far inland :-( Thank-you for your input, much appreciated.
