I used to have a war-time issue variant of this flashlight (torch). It didn't have the embossed swastika on the battery cap but it did have some waffenamt's stamped in it. It was painted green (field grey). It was the only one like it I had ever seen. Don't ask why I traded it away because I don't know. I guess I should have kept it.
