Sanitäter Pins Packet

Hi, I received this packet with 5 safety pins.

It's marked as Military District Sanitäter Depot, Kassel, and dated. The glue holding the closed side seems to be a little reactive to UV light.

I couldn't find any info about this item. Any opinions? Original?

I would think this is authentic. I have seen similar packets. However, the packet indicates there are 5 pieces (5 Stück) in the packet and the photo shows 10. NH

Thanks for your comments. Neil the photo of post #2 is not mine.

There are some things with this packet that make me doubt.

The closed side seems to be hand folded, as it was not folded with a perfect angle, opposed to the award packages. The open side has an irregular shape that i didn't see before.

The date marking makes me think also. Why a so detailed date (including the date) on an imperishable item?

The glue used seems to react a bit with the UV light.
