According to the seller I got this from it was originally one of a brought-back pair, but the woman he got it from told him she gave the other one to her kid who destroyed it! The survivor is black instead of the more usual brown leather and is in good condition other than having the tip torn off one of the securing straps. It's well-marked, Kurt Seidel, Berlin, and 1940 with a large R to indicate it's to be worn on the right side; and on the lid a large K to indicate it was intended for Kragentrager or stretcher-bearers. Inside the label is torn but retains the word Abschnurbinde to indicate where the tourniquet went alongside the packaged bandages.
