Great post Ade. So many people fall foul to these pieces. I have seen them sold for extraordinary money, when one can buy them for as little as 10 Euros. I seem to remember BigNed posted a cracking link to some originals earlier this year, and as I mentioned earlier in this thread, I posted an example similar to some of those 'orrible pieces above quite recently. Anyway, that piece is shown below.

This is definitely a reproduction. Sorry to inform you. Adrian Stevenson is correct about his being a great example of a period piece.
