SS Mercedes typewriter

Hello guys,

today I've bought this old antique SS typewriter. I don't know or he's common or rare
but it was just to nice to let him at the show. My girlfriend and myself like him a lot because it fits very good in our home interieur.
I saw other SS typewriters on the internet and most of them have their 'SS'-button above the '3' or '5'. This one has the button at the right beneath the '+'.
I hope you guys enjoy this antique looking old typewriter.

Hi Kris, the position of the "SS" key does vary according to the maker of the machine.

As a general note to anyone buying an "SS typewriter", it is always worth inspecting the key and the typeface. I have seen old typewriters with fake keys in the past.

Well thx Ade,

but offcourse I've inspected the key and the typeface and they are correct.
If there was a inkcartridge on it, I would be able to type the SS runes without a problem.

These are nice. My wife saw one and she wanted me to buy it. It's the only item that she would let me display in the house, but i don't think i would like to spend 400-500 euro for a typewriter. I prefer a helmet
