    Its prewar made.
    Other than that, cant see any other markings from these photos

    Thanks!, any idea on the date, its seems to have this weird stamp on the handle I can;t quite make it out:

    POST EDIT - on the head, there is a waffen stamp

    Holy crap, freekin' sweet! I took a photo of the hand etched date, one perspective it says 42 and tilt it slightly it becomes 43. Very clever ^^

    Sorry for the poor pictures, but squeeze your eyes and you will see it.

    If the waffenamt is WaA65,it would be for, R. Ehrhardt, Pössneck, Thüringen, 1942 I think.

    Probably says 42..... wouldn't the model 43 taken over production from them ( the one with the ignitor in the head )
    Head is early as has been said but nothing wrong with a 'parts grenade' in my book!! good one...

    Looks like a modern boot lace attached to the porcelin ball !! It looks like it is put together from ground dug parts do you know where it is from ?
