Straight out of the attic.

So there was out to dinner on Saturday evening at a friends house when he said come on round to the inlaws house there's something in the attic they want you to have. So biere in hand we walked around his house to next door and went up an old rickety set of wooden stairs into the attic on his inlaws. Sitting there in the corner behind loads of years of accumulation was sitting this lovely box stamped Luftdichter Patronenkasten which used to contain 1450 rounds of the purple coloured wooden headed ammunition used for exercises. Ok its missing part of the label off the front but we can't have it all. Anyway the label inside makes up for it. So as you can see with a quick clean I have a nice condition box to put on display in the Channel Islands Military Museum as per the request of the old Gent who gave it to me.
