I think this is an recent 'made in India' piece with a
fake badge soldered onto it...............

Steve.
As with walkwolf. You can almost see the soldering marks on the edges of the eagle. The eagle itself looks bad.
Very sloppy soldering job. Flux used for soldering was used in a sloppy manner and the solder follows the flux outside the left wing. There is no way I would ever believe a German craftsman would produce this low level work.

Thanks fellas, I figured as much but appreciate the input. I know it is not a recent repro, maybe back in the 80's, but even without knowing much about it, I thought it looked bad as well. Again, I appreciate the thoughts.
This is a repro, IMO, of a typical British WWI style bugle.
Originals can sometimes be maker marked, and usually
sell for around $100 to $150 today.
I have one that I picked up a few years ago for a decent price.
Pretty sure it's a repro as well. Although it seems well made,
was probably produced in India, without any insignia.

Steve.
Steve, thanks for the information, I appreciate it. I think you're 100% accurate about it.
i can solder better than that
