    Swiss...The reinforcement-ring and the pin in the shaft are the giveaways on these...

    And the octagonal shaft with the small brass nail in the "ball end".
    Does anyone know why the Swiss put this little brass nail there?
    I've got two Swiss shovels, both with this nail. And now this.

    Swiss were neutral ... why do they have same manufacturer of shovels as Germans ?
