I realize they come in many shapes and sizes.
Mine are quite small, smaller then those pictured!
What I hope to find one day, is a pic showing exact these, to verify the story ;-)

German quality indeed. In 1945 a type xx1 U boat U2540 was scuttled and 12 years later in 1957 raised and recommissioned 1960 as the Wilhelm Bauer in the Bundesmarine.
