Unknow (at least to me) Box

Guys,

I have found this box affair, it has German closures on both sides is dated 1935.

Ammo box? Vehicle type box?

It has tanish olive paint.

Any ideas?

Any chance of some measurements for it mate?
Looking at it, I would suggest that you're right about it being (?)German. I would offer a suggestion about it being some sort of vehicular tool/equipment box.

It is 14cm wide, 21cm deep and 28cm long.
