Hi Mark, yours is a regular general issue rucksack. I have a tropical version which I have shown on the forum in the past.

Yep,GebirgsJager mountain pack.The harness i think can be directly attached to the service belt as do the loops at the back of the pack.It's large to enable the trooper to carry climbing gear as well as his standard kit.
