By the way.. You have 999 posts! one from one thousand. Congrats!
Great!
If you don't mind me asking, what price range was that bayonet in?
I have a family photo of a reserve troop.
I'm interested to see if I an rebuild his set.
Was around 100 Euros
Nice group but if you are looking for a M36 feldbluse then swap out the late war metal feldflasche for an early war aluminium one with black painted alloy cup ( just so they match ). Same for when you find a mess tin ( kochgeshirr ) and breadbag ( brotbeutel )... go for the early ones.

Very nice price, and a very nice bayonet.
Warm Regards,

Yes, that would go with an early war rig.
This is an early breadbag ( leather reinforcing and alloy fittings ) and an early to mid war alloy mess tin.Although this is dated 44, the early ones were also alloy and could be this colour or black ( straps are hard to find though )
Cheers, Dan
I suggest buying Jean-Phillipe Borg's book 'German Combat Equipment 1939-45' ( our moderator here )
A most excellent read and will tell you ALL you need to know about equipment
