what are these used for?

Article about: I purchased these from an estate sale in Germany and wonder what they are. Was this used to clean guns? What is the round brass vessel?

    Is it a G43 cleaning kit?? Think the bottle is for oil

    Yugoslavian Mauser M48 oiler.
    Yes, its a rifle cleaning set.
    The round container is for oil, as you say. Two spout variation, so has two compartments - one for solvent and one for oil.
    'NOA' is for the oil, '4NW' is for solvent.

    Looks like your set is in fine condition and includes the muzzle protector still finely wrapped.

    Good call, I thought it reminded me of a Mosin Nagant cleaning kit I had.

    Thx. Used Yugo Mauser M48 cleaning set with muzzle protector/guide next to oiler
