I've heard everything- for carying 88 round, panzerschreck round, mortar rounds... Personaly, I don't believe any of this claims.

Hi it is for carring rounds as fare as I know but what kind of round that fits into it I don´t know

I think Dimas may be right. I have seen these before but can't remember the details but the size and shape are right for a 7.5cm round.
Just my amature guess.

It is for carrying a round. Please post the size. As these come in different sizes.

To me is 7.5 cm amd about 60 -70 cm...

I tought it could be a PAK round. Mine is 53 cm high and 12cm calibre.
