wooden ammo crate

I just got this ammo box with possible winter camo paint (it was stored in an attic of an old house for many years, the seller wasn't sure what kind of box it was, so I did get for a good price (15 EU) - according to a 2014 german field gear catalouge, this is a "Box for 12 smoke candles pattern 39" (?)
The handles are early type for sure...

The box will arrive later today, I'll try to find some kind of marking.

Nice box for that price !

I took some shots of the box - it's 60 cm wide, 40 cm deep, and 26 cm tall. Did not find any markings, but there is 2 layers of paint (panzer gray and white). It's most likely a modified "Packkiste Nr.10" or something similar. ( Nouvelle page 0 )
I do like the camo paint - turned slightly yellow - and the general wear seems to indicate that this wasn't painted recently.
