These were originally made by carl zeiss,as you say for flak defence,they were attached to their rangefinders,some had up to four on them,depending on the size of rangefinder,my guess would be at the end of the war the French got some of the stock and re used them,as I cant see any of the original marks on them,good to see they have their sun/rain shields on,a lot of these are missing and the Bakelite eyecover,all be it held on with a bit a string

I think also German wartime but used post war by the French , you see the same with German items used by the Finnish army they change the plates over for text in Finnish
